They sure are (with the exception of the GekkoGrip collection) which is great news if you want to mix and match different colors from the same collection to create a unique look and feel.

It really depends on what you’re using them for and where you’re fitting them. As a rough guide, most homes work best with any from a quarter to a half inch plank.

The V-EVO XL is recommended if you’re looking at options for a big home or office where you want to make the most of open space. In more confined settings it will reduce the apparent space, so it’s not recommended when space is at a premium.

If you want to create a stunning Herringbone pattern, the only product we have that can do it is the GekkoGrip Line. The end result will speak for itself and make you feel glad you chose it. Make sure to add a 20% extra when doing Herringbone pattern.

While everything is about as stable as it can be here, there’s no substitute for scheduling in some acclimation time into your build. It’ll stop expansion and contraction at different rates and help the finishing touches go to the next level.

We would recommend less than a 16th of an inch drop over a 4 foot span to make sure you can fit everything snuggly into place without running into any problems.

It’ll vary depending on your experience and personal preferences, but there’s some essentials you won’t want to do the job without: power saw, spare carbide blades, mallet, tapping block or spare plank, jigsaw and a sharp knife will all come in handy.

Glue is always an option, but it’s only strongly recommended when you need a watertight fit like in a garage or bathroom. Other than that, the key is to use some self leveling to make sure the floor is as flat as it can be before you start your fitting.

Only when you’re dealing with high pressure up through the concrete floor. If you’re seeing yellow and white discoloration on your flooring, you may need to start considering using barrier protection.

All of the planks we sell already come with underlayment to make things nice and simple. And if you want to add an extra one, you certainly can.

Yes, they repeat on every seventh plank. This gives you plenty of variation combined with a natural look and feel that’s hard to beat. And if you use the flipsides too, you can double that to 14.

Randomizing the order of the blanks on the floor is the best way to change things up and avoid too much duplication. If in doubt, go through several iterations to make sure you’re not missing a repeating plank that spoils the natural, eclectic look you’re going for.

You certainly can, just make sure to take into account the size and shape of the trim you need to fit it up against. Once you do that, you should be able to have your pick of all the various options in our range and then glue them in place with the minimum of effort.

Yes, our planks can be installed on top of existing flooring. Keep in mind that any imperfection of the existing flooring will transfer to the new flooring on top. Things like leveling, squeaking and other imperfections.

MAINTENANCE

A steam cleaner with tap water is a great tool to have at your disposal, just make sure not to spend an excessive amount of time on one spot. If you’re tackling more stubborn stains, a gentle spray bleach and a quick wipe will work wonders.

You’ll want to avoid using cleaners and polishes with brightening agents because they’re going to strip and discolor your home’s newest additions. Opt for water in a steam mop or a gentle spray bleach and handcloth.

Yes, provided you don’t spend too much time in one specific spot. Make sure to move gradually across the surface and avoid pooling in the middle of the floor by wiping regularly.

Prolonged intense sunlight will cause fading for most products in our range, as it will for all similar products currently on the market.

Fine scratches can often be buffed out with a towel and a spirit, while slightly deeper scratches can be hidden with a few iterations of wet and dry fine sandpaper.

Yes, this unique system allows you to pop out and replace any plank on the floor with little to no effort. Ideal when you want to keep the place looking as good as new.

It’s best to avoid natural rubbers here because they will leach into the surface and start breaking down the color in the uppermost layer.

Waxing is what we recommend because polish tends to strip back off much more easily. Just remember that you’re changing the finish of your floor, so if you need a replacement plank in future, you will have to polish it before it’s a perfect match.
